We have recently founded a program called Students Acting From Experience. Our main objective
as S.A.F.E. is to schedule meetings and assemblies with high schools in the area to talk to their senior classes about making
good choices with driving.
Being from the Rochester area, it was impossible to get through this summer without being
affected by the recent slew of car accidents. From the Churchville Chili crash to the tragedy in Fairport, we have taken
these senseless deaths as inspiration to make a change. It is our belief that high school seniors would be more apt
to take the advice of their peers who have been there. We would love the opportunity to speak to anyone who will listen.
The
summer before college should be the best summer of a high school graduates life. It should be a time of graduation parties,
not funerals; a time of being with friends, not mourning them. With our talks, we want to ensure that no one has to
go through this again.
This site will present our organization's cause or ideas to the world. As communicating isn't always
easy, we'll try to include photos and images that convey our message (remember, a well-chosen picture is a great way to get
a point across). We'll also include specific information about our organization and its members, so no one forgets the people
behind the pictures.
On this home page, we'll introduce our cause or message. We'll also try to include a picture or
two that represents the kind of work we do.
